Golf Outing
As our primary fundraising event the Annual Charity Golf Outing helps us fulfill our charitable mission of supporting area food kitchens, promoting Irish cultural events and providing educational scholarships to children of merit. At the same time we are able to offer the challenge of one of the Midwest’s finest private golf courses, designed by the world renowned Donald Ross and in absolute peak seasonal condition. Please plan to join us on June 3rd this year at Maketewah Country Club to celebrate the 11th anniversary of this event. Additional Information
In addition to a beautiful course and dazzling company, the outing will include dinner and prizes including a two year lease on a Camargo Cadillac for a Hole-In-One. Each golfer will also receive sportswear embroidered with the Friendly Sons crest.
During the cocktail hour there will be a performance by the renowned Glee Club of The Friendly Sons. Corporate and hole sponsorships are available. We hope to see you there and look forward to sharing this special day with you and your group.
Use of Proceeds
Your contributions and registration fees help to serve both the American Irish and especially others in need in the Greater Cincinnati community. Proceeds from this year's outing will benefit a number of wonderful but under-funded organizations in our community that are dedicated to feeding the hungry. These entities include Little Sisters of the Poor, the St. Francis Seraph in Over-the-Rhine and the Geiger House in Walnut Hills. Thank you for your generous support.
